Craft Beer
It is one thing to explore the Appalachian Trail on foot, by bicycle, or other means of transit; but it’s quite another to experience the Trail through the lens of some of the best beer brewers in the region. At the Damascus Old Mill Inn, we have assembled a tour of the Appalachian region’s best brews, all available on tap for you to sample. From Johnson City’s Yee-Haw Dunkel and IPA, to the Get Bent Mountain IPA from Parkway Brewing in Salem, VA, you’ll find a selection (or several) that will transport you back to the verdant wilderness and striking ridgecrests that the Appalachian Trail is known for.
Our bartenders are happy to share some additional on-tap craft beer selections from some more northern Trail-adjacent regions, including New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
